Hi. Anyone any experience of fitting these? Are they a good fit on the standard 14'' steelies? Have had someone tell me they can be a bit prone to falling off. Are some better quality than others? Cheers.

Had a set on mine until I lost one after a service, now gone to a set of VW Carat alloys

I would suggest cable tie on so they do not fall off.

Have them on standard 14” steel wheels. Lost one on at least 1/2 doz occasions but luckily always spotted it happening at relatively low speed. I’ve spent many an hour searching through hedges and trees!

What you get up to in trees & hedges is probably best left unsaid However, on that dubious note; back in the 70’s, searching through hedges in the local park always came up trumps with some illicit colourful material !

Hmm, that doesn't sound particularly promising - exactly what I was hoping not to hear! Thanks for the heads up.

I’d say avoid these if you want stress free driving! Lost a hubcap 3 times in the space of one short journey the first time they were on. Retrieved them all but not an experience I want to repeat. They are all off now and I’m going bare.

If anyone has recommendations of hubcaps they have purchased that have stayed on then please let me know. Decent originals are like hen’s teeth or £80 each new!
