RM 184 Fridge query

I have a Electrolux RM184 3 way fridge in my van.
On hook up the fridge works fine getting nice and cold. However when I switch to gas it doesn’t stay cold even though the flame is lit and seems to be working fine.
Has anybody any idea what the problem might be?
Regards Gerard

Could be dust / dirt , pull the fridge out , clean out the exhaust tube , spiders etc can cause the problem by blocking it and not allowing the heat to escape

Is the fridge level ?
Flames only ever burn vertically in a drought free environment, if you are not level , the flame won’t hit the spot !,

Hi, yes the fridge is level. There is condensation coming out of the vent and led light ‘G’ is lit on the panel.

If it works on mains and or 12v the burner needs servicing .

If you have never had it working on gas before it could be a previous owner issue. The fridge will not work if somebody has had it out in the past and while servicing it neglected to refit the spiral piece of metal on the long wire back into the exhaust flue. It looks like it has absolutely no pupose whatsoever but it slows the rate of rise of the exhaust gas so the heat from it has time to raise the temperature of the Goo (for want of a better word) to the point it evaporates. Without the swirly bit the fridge will never work on gas. I have known people who actually discarded it because they couldn't see what use it was

This of course may not be the issue but worth a mention

Or the burner tube is damaged.
Replace this part.

Perhaps a few photos to back of fridge may help identify the issue?
