Steering column mystery button.

Mmm. It’s on the steering column (87 1.6TD JX).
It’s not connected to anything.
It’s a mystery.
Any ideas anyone?

I’m sure I can see the remnants of a sticker that said “ DO NOT PRESS THIS BUTTON”

Is it me or does is say ‘Horny‘ above it.
Possibly for air horns or maybe the release of some form of pheromone spray into the cabin.

^^^^WHS - I can read horn in one pen with an added y in black, presumably someone did a quick fix for a non- working horn push for the MoT test and later fixed the problem.
