Have you got a spare brake light bulb and a bit of wire ?
Easiest way to find a parasitic drain on your van is to disconnect the neg battery connection and insert the bulb between the neg lead you just took off and the battery neg connection , any drain will make the bulb light , the brighter it lights the bigger the drain .
Remove fuses until drain stops .
Odds on its the stereo memory wire

and to add, stereo does operate with no key in. whats a stereo memory wire?

Thats a good idea re battery drain - Bulbs to LED?
I might do this myself. Can I get these cheaply from ebay?
Any idea which ones?

The memory wire is an always-on live connection for saving the radio stations when you switch off the van and the switched live goes off.

what battery is popular for 2.1 MV/SS Petrol nowadays?
if I have an amplifier in the car, should I go with some more power like 72Ah?

and actually I had starter problems (due to flat battery, Kids playing in bus and lights on I guess), I charged it overnight, but still wouldnt start but then disconnected the amp and it solved.

Led bulbs in everything except the indicators and headlights .
I used led panels for the brake lights because led bulbs whilst bright enough were not giving a wide enough spread
Ralph did the same, but he documented what he did ....

as for batteries, the battery box on a petrol is 175mm x 175mm x 315mm the correct code is 065 , but a 075, 085, 095 and type 100 fit
