My first post!

I’ve taken one windows out of my panel conversion and they are rotten in patches at the bottom. I can’t get it in to my chosen garage for ages. Other garages can do welding but not paint etc and I don’t want it without windows while I try to project manage.

I’m considering cutting bigger windows in to lose rot and avoid painting. My main concern is can I put bigger glass in? It’s about £40 a panel and I’d want glass if I had it done anyway - so can I go bigger?

I have a couple of inches above and below my windows to crease in panel under gutter / on door or door cover panel so would fit. But wasn’t sure about inside.

Good luck with the repair - Sounds a cheaper option even with new rubbers.   Be maticulous about protecting the bare edges from the cutting

I have the same issue with my Holdsworth. I am looking at the possibility of cutting out the rot and getting plastic tinted windows bonded to the outside. Should be cheaper than oversize glass and no rubber seals. 

I have a similar problem .
Never considered using bigger windows.
I was looking at loosing the rear windows all together but cant get a panel to replace them other than a full side replacement and that is expensive .
Where do the larger windows cine from.?

I contact this company - roughly £25 a piece tinted.
