I can hear the tone of the pump change when electric items are switched on... e.g. the indicators, reversing light, headlights...

That's not right is it?

I have swapped to a facet posi flow pump, and it seems to be working much better.
Previous one was a pierburg which I thought would be a decent enough name to be good.

Hopefully driving up a mountain this weekend for some stress testing.

No more starting problems with this setup, in case anybody finds this thread with the same problem.
