to show a short peice of text instead of a huge long URL (website address) do the following.
[url=your url here] then add your text here - and close with the square brackets, a slash / and then url, and close with a square bracket
so putting this in your message
[url=http://www.google.com] search engine[/url]
will show just search engine when it is viewed
