Aircooled thermostats explained (By Richard Atwell)

VW have stopped manufacturing the thermostats for aircooled T25s

Using a type 1 beetle/bay thermostat as a replacement

Thermostat is towards lower part of engine ... and when removed engine runs safe (though maybe too cool)
