This was essential with screaming toddler in the back of the van demanding release from the car seat. It can be put up by one person but it is not recomended, takes 2, especially if you've not done it before. Mind you dont nip the fabric with the 'camels knees' (the joints in the frame) when packing away. The bag is oversized so there is no problem putting it away.
