Hi,
I'm looking into converting my RHD Doka Syncro into a four door, with suicide rear doors.
Will I have to go to the point of sourcing a rear door and frame from a LHD Doka, or will there be enough strength in the o/s pillars to support a door after I have cut the blanking pannel out?
Regards

Mind you, rumour has it, he had a solid block of concrete in the back.

Re: Four door Doka conversion
the blanking panel is an infil in the door frame , most of the frame is still there
similar too a panel van, the non slider side has most of the sliding door recess panels fitted except the sill with a panel filling the hole!
the door is almost semetrical as well.
i have a rhd door and frame £100 if your interested.
have a look inside your van! and at the door!
as regards to strength , it makes no difference as said above its the same shell just with a bit of tin over the opening
