My CU will put 70 on the clock as long as the road is level and there's no significant headwind. My friend's GPS thingy says that in my bus 70 indicated is about 68 real MPH.

Once had an indicated 83 ish going down a lengthy hill on the A1, very noisy, steered OK not brilliant, used a spectacular amount of fuel in a very short time.

I find about 60-65 is the realistic upper end, any more than that and it just costs too much, 50-55 is better fuel wise.

I'm still waiting to find a long enough stretch of road.

I don't usually go much over 60, though. The van doesn't like it, and neither do I.

My 1.6 CT engine will do a masive 60 MPH but it sounds like its struggling so then I just stick to 50 mph. and slowly go up hills.

106Kph. On the GPS the day i bought the bus, level autobahn. That was when it was just going to be a workhorse, these days 80/85Kph is about my limit, I don't like the sound of the engine any higher than that. 1.6n/a diesel.
