Westy lean chep fix good idea/bad idea?

I put +3 psi in the LHS wheels just to see how it sits, and tbh its a lot better, now I know L and R are suppose to mirror each other, is this within tolerances for axle differences? I know BW does the shims but if it can be done another way...
ie
RHS F43 R53 psi
LHS F46 R56 psi

i dont think it ideal really. tyre will behave differently with different pressures in them. they`ll also wear differently.

saying that i wont mix tyres on the same axle, so im fussy.

I hear what your saying but the van sits down on the conversion side so the tyres are not under even load accross the axles. So with tyres inflated evenly would they not be loaded differently and therefore wear differently? a smidge more on the conversion side would even that out wouldn't it?

it's not a formula 1 car don't try and get the tyres to do the job of the suspension, tyres will wear in the middle on the over inflated side and will have less contact patch so under braking it will tend to pull more and be less predictable, and loading the sidewalls with extra pressure could lead to premature failure especially if tyres are a few years old;
that's why Simon came up with the kit, safest solution, vw would probably have done it if vehicles designed to last more than 10 years, a

not if the inflation is to counter uneven weight distribution. In fact the converse would be true if you evenly inflate your tyres the non load side will be effectively be over inflated leading to the problems you state. yeah dog on a bone I know!! I suppose flipping the tyres syncro stylee may help with any tyre wear issues.
