My New Trim

Firstly, here's Suffy:

Now here's the old Holdsworth fabric. Very must, worn, light faded, altogether bin material:

So that had to go. Instead something a bit sunnier.

At some point I'll get the furniture and floor redone in something lighter, but this is a start. :)

Looks really good.

Thanks folks.

Maybe it was an over reaction to the old dowdy interior. :D

I'm going for a beach house kind of vibe. Can't wait to get on to the furniture. Current thinking is to keep the Holdsworth 'frame', but get all the visible surfaces redone in something like Poplar ply. Or maybe even high gloss White.

Nice to get the thumbs up from a few regulars.

I think I've pushed the yellowness about as far as is 'sensible' though!

It was £1215, including the buddy seat and new foams all round. I also paid another £30 to have the fridge door done, covering up the slightly tired cream carpet it was finished with. Money well spent I think. Tim's a sound chap, and I got lifts to and from the station for drop off and collection. (Company name is Traffic Trim, near Wolverhampton, for those that don't already know).

kev... I did wonder why you hadn't done your side panels. Thought you might have had some technical reason. Get 'em done sir. :)

Yep, Tim said he took pics for the site.

Van looks spot on mate, what colour yellow is it? MIne is yellow right now but a lot duller/darker. I would like to keep it yellow but the misses wants it the original snot green.

Cheers, Jon.

Yeah, yellow. The original VW one, so slightly mustardy depending on the light.
