Hi guys
Can anyone recommend a battery charger for my T25 2ltr air colled Westy, it is not being used regularly at the moment and so I have been turning the engine over for 20 mins once a week.
I thought this may help keep the battery from going flat but it has not been the case.
So I guess I need a trickle charger of some sort.
How can I connect this without having to have the window open while charging?
Cheers for any advice Jay

If your battery is going flat in a week then you need a new battery not a trickle charger I would think
Also turning it over for twenty mins ...is a good thing... keep it up

You can get a solar panel trickle charger from maplins for a tenner. If you have an active cigarette lighter (doesn't need the ignition on to work) you can plug it in there and it will provide continuous charge, if not connect it straight to the battery. As what Kev said tho, maybe time for a new battery and definitely keep turning it over regardless.

How much charge does it actually put in on a good day? Do you just leave it on the dash?

Thats the one, leave on the dash or use suction cups on the window, they are a bit longer than an A4 sheet of paper but not as wide (if that makes sense) so fit nicely behind a sun visor. Not sure of output tho

WHS..
Plug it into the mains at home and use the onboard charger; or if the onboard charger isn't working then plug one into the sockets in the van for the time being until you get it replaced.
But get the attery checked as it reaally sholdn't go flat in a week unless there's some sort of drain on it; radio/CD player, alarm etc.. (wire these into the leisure, easy mod detailed in the wiki and more concisely by 1664 in a post somewhere yesterday )
