Hello

So, high top...

Where do you see the water...? Is it in the upper bed, or both the upper bed and lower bed...?

Is there water in the read cupboards or on top of the shelf above the lower bed....?

Or is it at the front of the van...

How do you normally park the van, on a slope, front up or down hill....

Been through this, tried everything, so I know where they leak!

Try looking at the mastic seal around the Roof lights, a reasonably common problem I'm told...

Ditto after spending loads of time trying to fix a leak I had it turned out to be the high top side windows so used a bit of silicon and been bone dry ever since!

My westy hightop, has leaks inside in the top corners, any help!

I resealed all round the outside where the hightop meets the bus as the old sika was was starting come off, but that never cured the problem.

I would be interested in your inferences peepingheads

Ours leeks too. Looks as though someone has had a half-arsed go at sticking some silicon around where the hightop meets the van but to no avail.
On closer inspection it look as though it's coming from the rivet holding up the curtain rail. We think it might have pierced the lining??
Gonna have to try and pull back the panel and have a proper look what's going on.......that will have to wait however. With all the mad rain we have had today our cellar has flooded!! Shifted 50 litres of water out of it earlier and have got a feeling it will be a long while before our home smells of anything other than damp :(

Roof leaks can appear a long way from where the roof is actually leaking

With everything dry, turn on hose a little and start at the bottom of hi-top. Have someone watching for leak and slowly work your way around van to top seam. If no leak inside, then try around next highest penetration of top... probably windows. If still no leak, go up higher... roof vent.

Keep in mind a leak from window or roof vent may take some time before water appears inside.

You may need to do this procedure a couple of times to be sure where leak is actually coming from.
