Turbo Adavance vacum thingy??

Post by DanO »

Hey

Can someone tell me what the technical name is for this part and exactly what it does. Mines not working so need a replacement. It does something with the turbo....can't remember what my mechanic called it but he said they were hard to get hold, or at least VW don't do them any more? I'll post a wanted once identified.

Cheers

Dan

ps I've just realised what the red line could be interpreted as, it's the part of the engine that I need identifying

Cheers for the quick response. What does LDA stand for? My mechanic didn't call it a boost controller but is that what most would refer to it as?

I'm assuming that this is the one i'd require for a 1.6TD Westy http://www.dieselkontor.de/product_info ... ts_id=3161" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - would you not recommend getting a second hand one as it's looking like 130 Euro with postage.
