early/late slider

sorry if this has been asked before -think it has but cant find it -is there a difference between early and late sliding doors apart from the handle size I seem to remember someone saying they are slightly different shapes- thanks in advance. Jack

yes there are lot's of differences.

the striker plate being the biggest
