camping between banbury and oxford

Post by demelzanoo »

Hi

I am wondering if anyone knows where we could camp. once a month we go and visit my step daughters who live in Brackley, now its camping season we want to camp near where they live. the problem is there only seems to be expensive sites or sites with nothing at all to keep kids entertained.... is this a big ask?... a campsite thats wont cost us £30 per night that is somewhere near/has a kids play area?!... or a lake! we have 4 kids and a dog!

if anyone one has any ideas please send them this way!

Hi, Lincoln Farm Park is quite nice in Standlake just off the A40 outside of Witney. There is a swimming pool there (an extra cost) its a nice clean site and has won awards. Our 12 year old loves it there and they accept campers and are very helpful.

You could also try the following, we've not stayed there but the sites look ok:

http://www.greenhill-leisure-park.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.cotswoldview.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There is also a campsite situated in Oxford by Go Outdoors.

Hope this helps.
