Anyone in Lancaster?

Post by TravellingChick »

I'm watching a van on ebay which is in Carnforth so I have absolutely no hope of getting to view it.

Was wondering if anyone was local and might be willing to go check it out for me? Cyber beer/wine/chocolate would be heaped upon you in copious amounts of gratitude

Item is 120375519754

TIA
Sarah

Hi Sarah
Let me know if no one else can do it - I might be able to help. It's about 27 miles from home, 20 from work. Depends when/whether I could hook up with the seller, ideally in daylight, really.
Was there anything you wanted looking out for? I've not had a Westy but did have a 2 litre a/c camper for years and know where they all rust!

Hi Keith

I've emailed the guy and asked for a bit more info so I'll keep you posted.

It'd be fabulous if his reserve is in my budget and you could go have a look for me.

Essentially I just want a solid van that's ready to go without too much work needing to be done and something I can look after and preserve rather than rescue iyswim?

Thanks so much for the offer, I'll let you know what the guy says.

Sarah
