Having recently finished running in our Elite recon DJ 2.1 which has a Gasure lpg conversion on the DG Pierburg carb. It's in a late ('89 F) stylee hightop, fully loaded 2 Tonne, 5speed camper and used as a daily driver, commuting 18 miles each way per day throughout Derbyshire's scenery.
Filled up tonight ..... 175 miles on 47.2 litres on lpg costing £25.00 @ 52.9 pp/ltr. Did the sums and with petrol at £1.08/ltr it works out that The Bus did the cost equivalent of 34.4 mpg. I believe I can live with that.
I'm sure others will have returned better fuel consumption than that BUT this is fresh and true.
