Price from breakers for doors, roof etc

Guys at local breakers have said £200 plus vat for

pop top roof
both doors
rear hatch
bumpers

Is this a good price?

If all those items are in really good condition (eg roof is smart and complete/doors straight and rust free) then that seems reasonable. I've seen roofs up for anything between £50 and £150, doors £10 to £60 each, tailgates similar.
You're only in the next county/country to me but due to the size of the place it's still about 3 hours drive to Kirkcudbright from here! One of my favourite spots - I'll give you a shout if we're heading your way sometime.

it sounds about rite
try playing them at there own game , say £200 cash, no vat and they take the stuff off the donor van ,
or just say £150 cash no vat and you will take it off the donor van for them

don't let them take the roof off!! t hey'll do it wrong, mostlikely with a grinder, if they don't undo the struts the roof will rip!!!!!

It'll have to wait until payday, and I''m getting a cordless drill with 6mm bit like you suggested.

They would break it - they are numptys :roll:

send a friend down to the scrappy and offer 100.00 for the stuff then you go down a few days later and offer 125.00 he will prob let it go for 150

dont even metion words VAT! and receipt

tell him you ,ll let him have the old doors& tailgate back???? therfore he won,t losse out on weight of the van when crushed!!!! DONT FORGET to take all windows & locks off , do the same with the bumpers, then tell him £ 100 cash. bet you he,ll go for that !!!! p/s dont forget the roof, let us know how you get on 8) neil
