Propex gas or eberspacher petrol heater??????

Post by alexmehrban »

Hi guy's,,, i have a T25 air cooled, looking to put additional heater in and just wandering what you guys thought of the above and why you chose or prefer a paticular system.

Im swayed towards propex gas as it is quieter and easier to fit.

One thing why do we need additional heating? if van is connected to a hook up can you not just run one of those little electrical heaters?

if your swayed by the propex.then go for it.
i have a ebber myself.theres more to go wrong with an ebber.but they are cheaper to run that a propex...(mind you looking at the price of diesel im not sure)

Im swayed towards propex gas as it is quieter and easier to fit.

propex over petrol ebber.........gas is safer than petrol, derv ebber over both.

and yess as long as you are only cold on fancy sites, electric fan heating is fine....its crap if the site has no hook up tho.......

depends how much you value the storage, DL1C ebbers fit nicely up under the glove box, using space you cannot use for anything else......

Hi Dave

I've got a petrol eber and am thinking of doing as you have done and putting in a d2 instead, any chance you can post a couple of pics of your installation?

Cheers
