wet floor

Post by JC »

I have just noticed a pretty wet patch on the floor of the drivers side. Can anyone suggest where would be the best place to start looking for the source. Thanks JC

Front window seal my friend.
A 'usual suspect' place to look when your floors wet. If your radio aerial is mounted beside the window, check that as well.

also - check what kind of 'wet' -
water 'wet'?
or -
light oil - 'wet' - ? if light oil wet - may well be clutch/brake fluid reservoir - or - master slave cylinder leaking... check to see if losing any fluid from the reservoir.....

The windscreen looks pretty water tight and there is an ariel, the mounting of which appaers pretty slack. How do you tighten the mounting?
