Hi guy's i'm getting a recon from Elite and was just wondering if there was any difference between the 2.1 & 1.9 other than the carb n injection as mine is on gas and i know Mocki has a 2.1 on carb running on gas, So i thought if it is an option i might as well have a 2.1 ? .
Thank's Tony

I changed my camper from a nice 1.9 Leisuredrive to an even better 2.1 Reimo after I heard Jeds (above) engine down at West Witterings one weekend.
Not gone LPG yet, but it certainly pulls up those big hills without a problem.

I've gone from a 1.9 to 2.1i and it runs amazing on gas, miles better than the 1.9, I get 30 more miles out of a full tank too!
You can even overtake up hill!

Got a fully built up 2.1 here on the Workmate waiting to slot it in ... with the 1.9 carb/gas set-up.

PLEASE
may have worked better.....manners maketh man, you know....
Oh - we have done 2 1.9 - to 2.1 (one through elite) both successful, both on gas. No injection systems on either, both on carb on the original 1.9.
yep, more gumption in the 2.1

Are Elite still doing 2.1's? could not see them listed on the website the other day.
I have gone the other way 2.1 injection on gas to a 1.9 injection on gas. Works well but will be building a 2.2 over Christmas.

all the same i believe tony , i do think you will have to take the fuel pump off the 1.9 and fit it to the 2.1

Possably a numpty question,
I am about to rebuild a 1.9,would it be worth fitting 2.1 barrels and pistons
or is the 2.1 bottom end different to the 1.9?
If it is,would it still be worth swapping the B and P's ?
