E10 fuel hose for 2litre cu

Well I fitted supposedly E10 fuel hoses to the Aircooled about a year ago, guess what, coming back from Gower today switched onto petrol cuz the LPG had run out and lorries tooting me and huge petrol smell. pulled over and pipes all crackedup and pouring out on engine side of electric fuel pump!!!!!

Did a quick shorten and reconnect to get me home ok

Where to get PROPER E10 hose from? I thought bricky but just looked and not sure about what they have. Help please

If the hose isn't marked FKM/FPM (fully synthetic rubber) it isn't ethanol proof at any concentration.

I fitted the Brickwork hose kit to mine a few years back and is still good. The still plastic pipe looks very good, but I check the rubber like connecting joints regularly.

There is a LOT of fake crap out there. Brickwerks for posted, or if you have a local Pirtek or similar that's as safe as you can be.

I had the same with my Omega a couple of years ago, supposed safe hose turned to mush...
