Any advice please? I've searched here and others have similar issues and there's a lot of suggestions from disconnecting the buzzer to engine swap. The latter is not in the budget right now!

Oil pressure buzzer
I took both the rocket covers off to try and diagnose why they were both leaking, I've got new gaskets to put on but took it for a quick errand drive first and now the oil pressure buzzer is sounding
I topped the oil up as it was a little low but still the same. I'm going to replace the gaskets once the weather breaks but it was either unfortunate timing or I've created a new problem!
Any advice please? I've searched here and others have similar issues and there's a lot of suggestions from disconnecting the buzzer to engine swap. The latter is not in the budget right now!

Re: Oil pressure buzzer
You've probably just knocked the cable off going to the pressure sensor between the pushrods. Check everything is still connected.
Re: Oil pressure buzzer
Forgive me but I am on a steep learning curve. Is it down there? It feels like what I've seen listed as an oil pressure switch. It has a single yellow cable to it

Re: Oil pressure buzzer
I thought the DOP buzzer comes from the oil switch behind waterpump?

Re: Oil pressure buzzer
The correct wire for the Dynamic Oil Pressure is indeed the yellow from the sensor behind the water pump pulley.
However both sensors are connected to the buzzer of doom pcb behind the speedometer head.
Pin-out is as follows -
DOP pin 1 = blue wire from alternator D+ terminal
DOP pin 2 = yellow from sensor behind the oil pump (0.9 to 1.8bar)
DOP pin 4 = green from ignition coil #1 terminal
DOP pin 5 = brown to chassis ground.
DOP pin 6 = blue/black to dash LED,and to sensor above left push-rod tubes (0.3 bar)
DOP pin 8 = black ignition live from coil terminal #15.
I hope that helps.
