Awning/tent recommendation?

Post by Newmski »

Hi everyone.

Looking to upgrade the awning, ideally with one that can double as a stand-alone tent for the times when we don't take the van (  ). We've got an old (heavy) drive away awning and a large 3 man tent both taking up room in the garage and it would be great if I could just replace them with one thing. Finding it difficult to confirm if any awnings work this way, do any of you have any recommendations. Would be to fit our '85 autosleeper pop top.

Cheers

You could use a khyam motordome quick erect awning as a stand alone. Not cheap new. But it might be worth looking for a S/H one.
