Rear Wiper Install

Hi All

I'm fitting a rear wiper and washer to a late tailgate. I have scoured all 28 pages of search results for "Rear Wiper" and the really promising links are throwing up 404 page not found and PhotoBucket tells me better luck next time.

Does anyone out there have accurate measurements or perhaps a tailgate handy to measure the hole centres for me please?

When I added one on mine I did a cardboard template of the wiper bracket and spindle location. Then offered it on the inner of the tailgate, with some frowning, questioning my choices and with the potential of screwing it up in the forefront of my head, I punched a point to drill from the outside using a stepped bit, then finished it up with a file, painted the exposed metal and fitted the wiper. Worked out nicely, I think I might been off by a few mm but it works just fine.

got a scrap late tailgate here that can be cut up to template the holes from John, that's the main reason I haven't weighed it in yet, can cut out the section and send it to Sandy if required

Hi Aidan, that would be fabulous thank you. You'll have to let me know how much and I can PM you Sandy's address if needed. I'm favouring putting all the necessary holes in before painting as I know Sandy will do a better job than me retro fitting things
