if you want to bring the lower control arms over once they are off I have the correct tools to press the ball joints out and the new ones in Jim, your van should have cast arms

From Wikipedia:

Rear seat belts became compulsory equipment in 1986. It became compulsory for children aged 14 and under to wear a seatbelt in the rear in 1989, and for all adults to wear a seatbelt in the back of a car in 1991.

Appreciate the input, and I also fully endorse elements of safety. However, there can often be grey areas where interpretationenters the fold.
I've had two different opinions from professional mot testers because of this.

Cheers for the kind offer mate. But after faffing about on my back in the cold, I've opted for the easy option to get it booked into a garage.

In my experience that works well because the tech doc says 2 hours to do the job so they quote you on that basis, then find out it's more like 5 or more hours on the late set up, but tech doc is based on the early set up with the removable ball joint holders :rofl

So make sure you get a fixed quote :ok
