Automatic Transmission clean out.

Post by tjmills »

Hello to you.
I'm seeking some advice on cleaning out the valve body of my auto box please?
Can I drop it out the bottom whilst the box is in situ?
Will anything from above it drop out on me? Accumulator Piston for example...
what do I particularly need to watch out for?
I have a Bentley manual so can see the breakdown diagrams. Just a bit nervous as it's a part of my van I've not worked on previously.

Any advice is very appreciated
thank you
