Clutch lever
Hi guys, please could anyone tell me if the clutch arm is moving enough? I'm having trouble with selecting gears. The van has been stood for over 6 years and I'm trying to restore it. I've replaced slave and master cylinders. I can get it to move in second gear but then the gearbox will almost lock me out of selecting anything else. Engine off gears select fine. Many thanks in advance.

Re: Clutch lever
My thoughts are that after 6 years everything will have a veneer of rust, my remedy is to slip the clutch in gear to wear off the rust before looking for another cause.

Re: Clutch lever
Thanks very much. What's the best way to do this. I've just finished bleeding clutch and brakes, had some improvement with the gears. Can move in 2nd and briefly in 1st. Quite a caustic smell bellowing into the engine bay?
