Campervan Ovens

[font]My German motorhome has only a small gas burner and no oven. I do enjoy cooking when I'm away so I'm looking for an efficient, reliable oven/grill or microwave that is relatively light and has a small footprint. It can live in the garage so freestanding. Any suggestions or recommendations from your experience?[/font]

Cannot say I've ever used an oven in a van, aside from my grill and two hobs which does great. I will be keeping my eyes on this thread if others have as I need to rework the LTs kitchen area so I'll be looking out for recommendations.

Ever thought of using an air fryer?

In reality they are a free-standing or counter-top convection fan oven.
Quick, clean and moderately healthy.

Used a Remoska for years. Works well and versatile. Comes in 400 W and 550 W forms. No problem running off electric hook up. Quite expensive now. philipmcC

I have a cheap mini-oven that I use quite often in my campers. £40 off amazon, it draws about 800w - works great! I run it off an inverter, but both vans do have a lot of battery capacity.

I picked up a mini oven from Lidl recently. £35 and 800W. It is tiny - but big enough to do a small pizza (cut in half and spread over 2 shelves!) / pie / chicken bites etc. I have 200W Lithium and a big solar panel so run it off a 1000w inverter with no issues at all. It actually takes less out of my batteries than I anticipated, mainly because it is so small it is ready for cooking in about 3 minutes after turning it on!
