Liquefied Petroleum Gas LPG

Post by drippytap »

Was thinking about adding a under slung LPG unit beneath my 89 California, to run a heater, power a fridge and run the stove off, even if possible a tankless hot water heater - latter may just be a pipe dream
Certain advantages - frees up internal space by removing existing gas cannister - could install oven or grill, keeps gas cannister outside, larger capacity gas container but is it worth it?
The expense in getting the work carried out  but also how available is LPG now in order to fill up -  near me in West Sussex looks like garages that still offer LPG are few and far between and what is the situation like abroad ?
Also how easy is it in finding a good installer?

Suggestions and opinions are welcome
