Hi
Has anyone else had problems with these? Bought to replace standard ones 18 months ago. One of the front ones has come apart when I tried to adjust settings, I suspect due to corrosion in the adjuster. Oil everywhere, and van off the road.

I have never used this damper. However, a friend of mine has been using it for quite some time and as far as I know, he hasn't had this type of problem yet.

Sorry to hear that. Perhaps some Bilstein shocks from Brickwerks are worth a look. In my opinion coil overs are for track cars because they are too firm for British roads.

adjustable damping rate not adjustable height I think, they have an adjusting knob but it is exposed at the bottom of the damper, and prone to corrosion due to water, road salt, and material choice; they are not massively expensive dampers so not made with marine grade stainless or the like and protected with boots
