In need of some help...
Oil was getting hotter than I like, whipped off the oil cooler (Frontera 2l petrol) fins are corroded, threads are knackered...
Has anybody used the frontera one? What would you replace it with?
I've been told that it is m18 x 1.5 but online diagrams are saying m22 x 1.5.
I've gotta get the right connections to fit the current oil feed pipes, defo new was looking at the Sertrab ones but I just don't know!!

Re: Oil Cooler
I am assuming Frontera-A as I can see no listing for a 2 litre petrol on the Frontera-B.
Information in both EPC and TIS (Official Vauxhall programes) for the oil cooler is very scant for the X20SE and X20XE engines.
The only thing I could find was mention of an M16 thread for an oil-cooler pipe.

As for a suitable alternative, I am sure there were some threads posted approx 3 months ago about retro fitting an aftermarket oil cooler, discussing numbers of fins and alternative locations.
Apologies that I wasn't able to give any useful info.
