Starter Motor Bush Replacement

Post by keynsham1 »

Simple question... Can a worn starter motor bush (The one in the bell housing) cause a new starter motor to jam?

No. I don't think so. Surely the more worn it is, then the less friction it causes. However, if it damaged? Well, yes. But is the starter weak with age or with poorly feed 12v?
