Power Steering Adjustment Bolt

Post by Wilso »

Hi All,

I'm after some help; I lost my Power Steering Bracket adjustment bolt (silly me) and need to purchase a new one.

The only reference I can find is the follow post at The Samba - 8mm bolt 35mm long. Probably should get a grade 10.9 bolt as well

It looks right as it is the same engine, can anyone help and confirm that's the right bolt please?

TIA :D

the long bolt through the mount and pump should be M10 x70mm, the short bolts holding the pump assembly together/to bracket are M8x35 with a big (24x1.5mm) washer for the tensioning, and 2 off M8x18 bolts for the plate, the long bolt takes a spring washer under the nut and usually the nut is at the rear of the van (ie belt side)
