Kangarooing on light throttle

Post by Bluebell1983 »

I need a bit of help with my van. It's a 1.9 DG 1986 and its developed a issue with running once it is up to temperature. The is kangarooing/being hesitant when on light throttle. It's also cutting out when approaching traffic lights. I'm having to keep the revs up to stop it stalling.

Does anyone have any ideas why it might be doing this?

It seems fine when cold

Air leak, dirty air filter or fuel pump is where I would start. Does it easily start again?

Yes it will start again straight away. It has a new air filter and I can't see or hear any air leaks. I've double checked all the vacuum hoses
