Obvious questions -
How much water are you seeing?
How often do you drive the van?
Do you use it for short distances or longer runs.?
Is this a new or an ongoing issue?
Have you done any work on or near the engine shortly before the water started to appear.?

It is hard to ascertain a better picture without more information.

A little bit of water could be ambient condensation in a cold / cool engine which is nothing to worry about...

A lot of water could be anything up to an internal leak.
Take a peak at your dipstick to see if there is water on it where the oil should be.

1987 Electrics and a DJ engine.
Maybe one day I might get it finished
