Possibly gasket

Post by moggymorgan »

Hi everyone
CU engine automatic gear box.
Cuts out as soon as I take my foot off the throttle. Developed an impressive oil leak. Checked all air hoses for the carb. Can't find any air leaks.
Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Hello John. Can you get someone to spray a little carb cleaner or wd40 around the inlet manifolds etc as the revs die and see if they pick up. Not sure about a/c but this is what it was when I had similar symptoms.
Where’s the oil coming from?
David.
