We think Llanfyllin is a wonderful site and can’t imagine being able to find anything as good reasonably central. We don’t have a preference weekend either is good, but agree bank holiday weekend traffic is a nightmare.

I very much dought you will find a site as good as Llanfyllin. We are happy to stay there.
Dates: The original dates suited us best. Bank Holliday weekends are a pain.

Some good comments here,
I am happy to stay where we are, I think it unlikely we will find better.
However I do think that Coney farm comes a close second and it is easier for most people to get to I believe.
We have had some really good times there before now & very good local facilities very close by.
The dates would be better for everyone with families to happen during school holidays but absolutely not the bank holiday weekend.
We will hopefully take a week off before the event, so happy to help in the days before the event, wherever it is.
Will also be there with Syncro this year.

Dammit … that last weekend in July is WOMAD … we booked the tickets two-and-a-half years ago, so we’re not going to miss it now it might actually happen.

OK, will talk to the landowner. Last w/e in July if we he's prepared to shift the bikes, or the next weekend otherwise, OK?

just been catching up on this.

I'm looking forward to it sooooooooooo much, even though I have done nothing to the van since last post.

At one time I though it was going to be bank holiday weekend at the end of August and we have a wedding to go to then so end of July or first weekend in August sounds good to me.

If help is needed I'll try and come a day early to help set up.
