More economical welding gas
Having done a partial restoration of my van 8 years ago it is going to need some additional panel work which didn't need attention at the time.  The last time I did this I was using those disposable gas bottles for my MIG welder like this https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/co2-gas-cylinder-600g/
Before I go down the same route, is there a more economical way of buying my inert gas without rental contracts?
Thanks!

Thanks - that's the kind of thing I was looking for.  There is even an agent nearby.

Re: More economical welding gas
Very economical it is too. Just swapped my hobby weld 5 cylinder for a new one for £38. Very reasonable. Just remember to turn it off when not using...

Re: More economical welding gas
I bought a large bottle from my local DIY store, I don't know if can do that in the UK though.
It cost 200€ and a refill costs about 35 €. We did two vans on one fill.

Another thumbs up for Hobbyweld.  Was gobsmacked when I found we had an agent right here in sleepy little ol' Dunoon!
