Which Barrel and Piston Set?

Seems I have a couple of options. Appreciate any comments, suggestions and recommendations as to which is best please.
I know one is 'Repro' and the other Mahle - but aren't they both reproductions.

Mahle are the best and were for a long time the only alternative to buying vw branded pistons.
