Brake disc dust covers?

Post by G Dub52 »

Hi guys. The plates behind my front brake discs are now pretty much non existent and I would like to replace them. Only problem being im not sure what they are actually called. Can anybody help with a part number or name?

Thanx in advance

You don't have to fit these for the MOT. Mine were rusted and feel apart and the screws snapped trying to remove them, leaving part of the stud in the hub.
Left them off in the end

Will it really effect anything if they are left off?

I thought they may need to be replaced but if they are not essential I will just remove for the time being.

I noticed an oil leak from one side of gearbox coming from the drive shaft so may need some money to fix this instead :)
