I have been looking at some fuel gauges to replace my broken one, I have found a nice standard VDO one, which is compatible with the J11553 sender, will this be compatible with my van?

On the jk website they show a gauge to work with that sender, but state that it won't work with the standard sender, so I think the answer is no.
