Hm, just a thought after re-reading all of this thread, are you looking at the washer tank at the front of the van or are you looking in the engine compartment?
The washer reservoir is under the rubber mat in the footwell on the NS of the van, passengers footwell of a RHD van.

The rear washer bottle is in the back though - in the offside panel on mine.
