Recommend battery charger

Post by madangus »

Hi,
Have a 1.6 diesel t25 E reg. not using the van much at the minute but other day it struggled to start. Can anyone recommend a battery charger which I can just hook up to the main battery to keep it topped up. Seen loads on the market but not sure which one to get?

Cheers

Angie

Lidls do a great 'intelligent' charger, and it's only £12.99. And it copes with (up to) 120Ah capacities..
Probably find it on their website, or maybe Aldi?

As far as i know the lidl and aldi ones only come round twice a year and you have to be quick
lidl one needs to be set with a switch so if the power switches off and on you have to reset it.

I have a hilka one also and it auto starts so will charge even after power cycles.
you want an intellegent charger because it will charge then move to trickle charge mode so you can leave it connected without harm

if you are somebody who wants the best then look for ctek chargers
