HS2000 heater - where fuse?

Post by petervw »

I have a newly installed Heatsource HS2000 heater (not by me). Its not working. I suspect its the fuse, but I can't see where the fuse is. The installation manual mentions a 5A fuse and a fuse holder, but no photo or diagram. I've Googled, without luck, to try to find what I should be looking for. Any suggestions, or better still, a diagram or photo?

It is an inline fuse on the positive line, you need to trace the red positive cable from the twin core on the heater it will be in the line along there

According to the manual the fuse holder is directly at the battery end, 5A fuse. Assuming it is connected as per manual.

Yep, that's where my one is fitted. 5 amp fuse in a fuse holder very close to the live terminal on the leisure battery.
