Austop low profile elevating roof

Post by garyd »

Hi, I am considering having one of these roofs fitted and wondered whether anyone here had already got one?

They are apparently a development from the T4 roof making them slightly narrower to fit the shape of the T3 roof profile. Apart from being lower profile they also cost a bit less than many others - £2-2,500.

Have you seen any pics? Interested myself, not to keen on my holdsworth pop top although I might miss the solid sides. Be interesting to see some pics.
(Ps. Just sent you pm asking for a copy of your gti engine conversion instructions! Another project!)
