Control arms

Post by newkid »

Hi, hoping someone can help, recently purchased some new control arms with powerflex bushes installed. The arms are different to the ones on our van and I was wondering if they can be swapped over.

This is the ones purchased

This is the best pic I can get of the ones fitted

As you can see the new ones have a round hole at the bottom, the old ones are rectangular.

Thanks for any advice that can be giving.

I'm not even sure what we're looking at in any of these photos and surely the bottom pic is a front shock absorber. I give up. Perhaps someone else can have a go.

Hope this picture I found on here helps, the top picture I posted is the control arms purchased.

This picture shows the control arms fitted.

I'm presuming we have the older type control arms and the ones purchased are the newer type, my question is can the control arms be swapped for the newer type?
